The region benefits from access to five major medical facilities, including the Armidale Rural Referral Hospital which recently saw a $60 million redevelopment. Ancillary services include radiology, pathology, occupational therapy and speech therapy, social work, physiotherapy and pharmacy. Over 50km of mountain bike track catering to all skill levels, two all weather turf hockey surfaces, netball courts, two 25m indoor heated pools, basketball courts, equestrian centers and the list goes on.
